Job Description
Senior Reporting Analysts are able to get wide exposure to the Upstream business which is the largest within the group and spend time understanding its key value drivers and external context. There is significant opportunity to learn about the business, develop and deepen finance professionalism and expand networks.

The Senior Reporting Analysts have regular contact with the Leadership Team. There are often demands for quality and in-depth analysis at short notice. This requires the ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines. To be successful in the group you must be an excellent team player. 

Besides ad hoc requests, the team has to deliver peak performance during the closing cycles of the year. During these peaks, additional time efforts are required.

The ability to work in a strongly de-layered networked organisation is vital. Members of the reporting team need to be flexible enough to deliver projects on their own initiative as well as leading and supporting other members of the team.



A background in controlling and accounting is essential for this role. Helpful if this experience is gained in an Oil and Gas Upstream environment, but not essential.

- Degree in a finance related discipline
- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience
- Excellent analytical and communication (written/spoken) skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a larger team without formal authority
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior executives
- Ability to work virtually
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Resilient and a self-starter, able to work on their own initiative
- Commercial approach

- Excellent IT skills (power point, excel, word, management information systems)
