Job Description

The Business IT Analyst will be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the certain planning and appraisal systems in the group.  He or she will be working closely with functional stakeholders in IT on improvement projects while at the same time ensuring business needs and continuity are met.

This position will have responsibility for specific systems and processing in the upstream planning environment. 

  • Be a  Project Expert/Super User for planning systems
  • Take ownership for quality of data and the functioning of the planning systems.
  • Develop productive relationships with key stakeholders, to deepen team's understanding of underlying issues within the Plan and the planning systems
  • Where relevant coach other team members in areas of expertise
  • Proactively diagnose problems with systems and implement projects to address these issues
This position is ideally suited for robust analytical background or IT background who would like to play a key role in the smooth functioning of our planning systems.




  • over 5 years of relevant professional experience

  • Self-starter with a track record of performance and proven ability to deliver quality results under significant time pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal & leadership skills with personal confidence to quickly build credibility, respect and rapport;

  • Excellent communication skills, clarity of thought and ability to translate complex raw data into simple, powerful and easy to communicate key messages & insight

  • Able to work across organizational boundaries with a diverse group of colleagues and stakeholders at multiple levels in the organization


  • Excellent IT skills :Power Point, Excel, VBA , MS Access (nice to have) , Word, Spotfire (as an adventage)

  • Systems implementation knowledge
